Most televisions come with composite inputs, also known as RCA inputs/jacks located on the back or on the side of your TV. RCA or iPad composite AV cables consist of 3 wires that carry both sound and audio. The red and white colored cables are used to transfer audio whereas the yellow wire is used for video.

Important upgrade information: You may also have component inputs on the back of your television which are labeled Pb, Pr and Y. If this is the case, we recommend you upgrade to the iPad component cables that use 3 cables that separate the video and 2 cables that control the audio. iPad video component cables will offer you a crisper, more vivid picture and can usually be found for about the same price as composite cables.
